Ashenso started as a tattoo artist right after secondary school in 2005 but became popular in 2008 whiles a freshman in Takoradi Polytechnic through to completion after three years of tertiary education.

Tattoo wasn't selling in Takoradi so I had to move to the capital (Accra). My tattoos are of a particular standard because of my artistic background therefore placed me on a different pedestal amongst other tattoo artist I came to meet in Accra. I appealed to a certain class of people and that made me choose my clients carefully to maintain and protect the brand.

Some of the people I have tattooed are P. Y. Addo Boateng of then the one show on viasat one, Nana Ama McBrown the actress, Kwabena Kwabena, Samini, Hanks Anuku the Nigerian actor, Pascal Amanfo the movie director and a pastor, Oris Ehuero the Hollywood actor of Sinbad fame and many others.

I met Van Vicker in the course of my trade and became his graphics designer and make up artist (special effects) and a writer and script editor sometimes.

I started granting T. V. interviews due to my good works and the broader knowledge I had about the job (tattoo). 

My first interview was on Allo Tigo with John Germain, then The One Show on Viasat one TV with Joselyn Dumas, Today's woman, Diva's show with Nana Aba Anamoah and the T.V.3 morning show, GH One T.V., T. V. Africa, U.T.V., Oman T.V. Etc.
